This serie titled “Light Shredder” is composed of 3 projects which present some slight variation in the making of the main filter. A new version is currently under development. Originally, the filter was inspired by these systems conceived to enhance natural light in a room and also by the Heliostat systems (see Death ray and other light projection system). It is some kind of dysfunctional mix of the two.

The aim of the first filter was very futile: dispersing sun light in multiple random directions into a room using hundred of tiny reflectors. Imagine that instead of projecting light onto a sphere, you projected it onto a plan constituted of facets similar to the disco ball with multiple random and variating angles.
